Westbound I-94 closure in Minneapolis scheduled for July 31-Aug. 3

 

ROSEVILLE, Minn. - All lanes of westbound Interstate 94 between I-394 and I-694 in Minneapolis will be closed from 10 p.m., Friday, July 31 through 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 3 as crews prep and paint the Broadway Avenue, 26th Avenue, 41st Avenue, 42nd Avenue and the Soo Line Railroad bridges over I-94.

The following ramps to westbound I-94 also will be closed:
• West Broadway Avenue/22nd Avenue North
• Dowling Avenue North
• 53rd Avenue North to westbound I-94
• Eastbound I-694 to northbound Highway 252

Motorists are advised to use the posted detour route-I-394 west, to Highway 100 north to
I-94 west.

All motorists will be directed off the freeway at I-394. Motorists who wish to exit at
Highway 55 will be allowed to proceed to Highway 55, where they must exit.
